It was wonderful to meet all the parents at Back-to-School Night. We, the Administration, faculty and Staff, hope you found the evening beneficial. I would like to thank you for attending. I would also like to extend thanks to the teachers and students hostesses, without whom Back-to School Night would not have been possible.
The purpose of Back-to-School Night was an orientation for parents, a time to meet with teachers and learn their expections for their classes. It was not intended to be a conference time. If parents wish to discuss individual difficulties that a student may already be experiencing, they should schedule an appointment with their child's teachers.
If you did not have the opportunity to complete and submit the Back-to-School Night Evaluation at the end of the evening, feel free to respond to this blog. Below is the questionnaire. Your comments and contributions are always appreciated. Thank you.

I enjoyed meeting my daughter's teachers at back-to-school night. I was able to get a feel for how the coming year will be for my freshman daughter and it seems very promising. My only negative comment about back-to-school night was the impolite behavior exhibited by some students. While I was in TWO different classes there were at least a few girls standing near the door talking loudly. BOTH times, they were asked to quiet down and both times they were quiet for a minute and then started right back up again. I was surprised at this behavior coming from high school girls. It was very difficult to hear two of my daughters' teachers. The family that I rode with said the same thing happened to them at least once and we were in totally different classes for all periods. Perhaps students should stay home on back-to-school night or stay on the patio.
Congratulations of your long tenure at Loretto/Conaty. 20 years ago I was one your students at Loretto.
Much regards,
